Equipment-aware training

Train with what's
actually in the room.

MyGymBuddy builds and adapts your routines around the equipment you actually have — a home rack, two dumbbells, or a full commercial gym. Switch profiles and every workout rewrites itself instantly.

Active kit
Today — Push Day

One engine, every gym.

The same routine logic Fitbod pioneered for equipment-matching — rebuilt around a simpler idea: what's in the room with you today?

01

Set your kit

Check off what you've got — barbell, adjustable dumbbells, bands, a bench, a full rack. Save separate profiles for Home and Gym and flip between them in one tap.

02

Routines rebuild themselves

Every template is built from movement slots, not fixed exercises — so a push day becomes a barbell bench press at the gym and a dumbbell floor press at home, automatically.

03

Log a set in under 3 taps

Weight, reps, done. Last time's numbers sit right next to the input so progressive overload is a glance, not a lookup. Rest timer starts itself.

04

Never lose a routine to a missing machine

No cable machine today? MyGymBuddy swaps in the closest valid substitute from the exercise's own alternatives list — you confirm or pick another, mid-workout.

If you can lift it, MyGymBuddy already knows it.

Nineteen equipment tags cover everything from a resistance band to a full commercial rack — the same vocabulary used to tag every exercise in the library, so filtering is exact, not approximate.

Own three things or thirty — the routine only ever asks for what's checked.

Barbell EZ-Bar Adjustable Dumbbells Fixed Dumbbells Flat Bench Incline Bench Squat Rack Pull-Up Bar Cable Machine Resistance Bands Kettlebell Bodyweight Leg Press Lat Pulldown Smith Machine Dip Station Medicine Ball TRX / Suspension Box / Platform

Sourced splits, not guesswork.

Every template ships in a Home and a Gym flavor, generated from the same slots — no separate content to maintain, no compromise either direction.

Good to know

Is this really a one-time purchase?

Yes. MyGymBuddy is launching on Google Play as a single one-time purchase (price to be confirmed) that unlocks every feature in the app permanently — including future updates to the core training experience. No subscription tier, no in-app purchases for routines or exercises, no recurring charge of any kind.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. The exercise library ships inside the app and your training data is stored on your device, so logging a workout works fully offline — useful in the corner of a basement gym with no signal.

What if I train at two different places?

Save a Home profile and a Gym profile and switch between them in one tap. Any routine built from movement slots re-fills itself with whichever equipment is checked in the active profile — no need to rebuild a workout by hand.

What happens if I don't have the equipment a routine calls for?

MyGymBuddy suggests the closest valid substitute from that exercise's own alternatives list, based on your active profile. You can confirm the swap or pick a different one, without leaving the workout.

Do I need to follow one of the built-in programs?

No. The templates are there if you want sourced, ready-to-go programming, but you can build and save your own routines from scratch with full control over exercises, sets, reps, and rest.
